Ladies Day @ Newton Abbot Racecourse June 23rd

On Tuesday June 23rd, Beau Boutique were invited back to host the annual Ladies Day Fashion Show event at Newton Abbot Racecourse. Having hosted quite a few fashion show type events over the years, I have to say that Ladies Day events are the most fun! Not just because of the racing, but because there is just so much fashion to look at. Everyone, not just the Ladies, turn out in spectacular fashion, hoping to win the best turned out prize! Thanks to help from family and friends, Beau Boutique set up a lovely stall for all of the VIP guests to peruse and then 6 models took to the stage to show off casual and evening wear, mother of the bride/groom, wedding guest and Ladies Day outfits all stocked at Beau. The show was very well received and we had a fabulous time. Then it was a quick change, so that we could all head over to the racecourse, as Beau Boutique was judging the best turned out prizes, for Best Dressed lady and man, and best hat of course!

Beau Boutique were also sponsoring the third race on the card, the Beau Novices Chase. The winning horse was ‘Dormello Mo’, ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies, trained by Paul Nicholls and owned by Jeremy Kyle! I had to present the prize to the winning owner, I didn’t quite believe them when they said it was Jeremy Kyle – see photo.

We all had a fabulous day and look forward to going back again next year.
