Ladies Day Preparations have begun!

Firstly I must apologise for not blogging sooner! But since launching the new website I have been busy uploading stock and promoting Beau Boutique, which has taken more time than I thought. The website is now full of goodies for my customers far and wide, and the website has received lots of wonderful feedback; so I am thrilled.

However, back to fashion! The summer is now in full swing, but typically for an English summer I have to admit that the heating has been on and off like a light bulb! The shop and tea room have been really busy, with our Marble day wear collection selling like hot cakes early on in the summer season! But as the summer progresses, we have had lots of ladies looking for wedding outfits and other occasion wear.

One of Beau Boutique’s summer highlights is a fashion show, which we host alongside Ladies Day at Newton Abbot Racecourse. A lovely afternoon and evening event filled with fashion, food, fizz and the odd flutter on the horses!

At present I am busy picking out a variety of outfits covering all aspects of our stock from day wear to Mother of the Bride and Cruise wear to handbags, to walk down the runway.  Around 8 of my friends and family join me at the event to help model and man our stall in the marquee. It is always such great fun and once the racing finishes the live band get going and the dancing begins! Tickets for this event can be purchased via the Newton Abbot Racecourse website (http://www.newtonabbotracing.com/hospitality-and-venue-hire/ladies-day-at-newton-abbot-racecourse).

Beau Boutique will also be judging the best turned out!
